Acopia can also provide a single application mount point across aggregated file systems to simplify client access and improve application performance.

Storage administrators also have the flexibility to configure policies that dynamically load balance capacity utilisation across backend file systems in a workspace. This allows the leveraging of capacity across an aggregate of physical volumes, and avoid having to balance capacity through manual migration.

In addition, the Acopia ARX solves the backup issues with large file systems. Each of the separate physical file systems that make up the logical workspace can be individually backed-up and the backup processes can be run in parallel
