ADIC Pathlight VX

The ADIC Pathlight VX is an enterprise level, integrated disk-to-tape backup solution designed to enhance your current backup and restore process by providing the benefits of using disks while retaining long term data protection capabilities.

With Pathlight VX, existing tape backup applications achieve disk performance and RAID reliability by using Serial ATA disk arrays for primary backup and restore tasks without having to change current processes or backup software.

For long term retention and disaster recovery, the Pathlight VX's integrated data mover writes the data to tape in the background using the original backup application's format and media management policies.

• Writes to physical tape in the background, restore operations use disk as primary source for performance
