The Allied Telesyn 7700 is a high density, central office-targeted, carrier grade multi-service access platform in an environmentally hardened chassis with 17 service module slots, 2 WAN slots and 2 control module slots.
Designed for delivering high quality IP voice, tiered IP/Ethernet data services, and broadcast quality IP video using IP/Ethernet switching technology over existing copper infrastructure, the Telesyn 7700 offers 12Mbps ADSL bandwidth over extremely long loops ideal for rural and metropolitan deployment of advanced services.
IGMP support, both in the Telesyn 7700 series' control fabric and each service module, ensures the entire network utilises bandwidth economically, and Quality of Service features include IEEE 802.1p priority bits, four Classes of Service and extensive Layer 3+ capabilities.
The Telesyn 7700 also offers theft prevention, realtime statistics, advanced diagnostics, auto provisioning and Upstream Flooding Only (UFO) features, and fully redunant network/control interfaces.
