BakBone Disk to Disk Plugin Module, combined with BakBone NetVault software, provides a means of backing up from disk to disk. Operating in the same way as a tape library, BakBone Disk to Disk offers the same advantages of tape but with the additional merits of disk high speed access and low cost.

The Disk to Disk plugin allows the administrator a wide variety of new methods to augment and fine tune current backup strategies, creating a virtual tape library on disks with the advantages of random access.
