The Brocade SilkWorm 3250 is a 2Gbit/sec, 8-port entry-level fabric switch, designed to simplify SAN deployment and administration.

Designed for entry-level SANs, the SilkWorm 3250 switch combines the flexibility of Brocade's enterprise switches with the affordability of a low-cost entry-level switch.

Fully compatible with all Brocade 1 and 2 Gbit/sec switches and directors, the SilkWorm 3250 provides flexibility as the foundation for entry-level SANs while enabling a seamless upgrade path and cost-effective migration.

• 8 universal ports
• 32 Gbit/sec end-to-end aggregate bandwidth
• 2.125 Gbit/sec line speed, full duplex
• 2-switch fabric scales up to a full-fabric architecture with 239 switches maximum
• Fabric switches support unicast, multicast (256 groups), and broadcast
