The Digi AccelePort Xp asynchronous PCI adapter, available with 2 to 16 high-speed serial ports, provides wide application flexibility and superior CPU utilization - achieved through the adapter's Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC), built around an 80 Mhz RISC processor.

The Digi AccelePort Xp is ideal for multi-user (retail point-of-sale, industrial control processing, data collection and office automation) and Remote Access Service (RAS) implementations.

• Simultaneously supports data speeds of 921.6 Kbps, bi-directionally, on all ports

• Full modem control and hardware handshaking support
