Digi PortServer TS 2 MEI

The Digi PortServer TS 2 MEI is a 2 port terminal server offering simple, cost-effective, multi-port serial-to-ethernet connectivity for multiple serial devices, ideal for applications requiring COM ports, serial tunneling, or where TCP Socket, UDP Socket, or UDP Multicast functionality is needed.

The PortServer TS 2 MEI features a switchable Multi-Electrical Interface supporting EIA-232/422/485 for simple interfacing to any type of serial device.

Digi's patented RealPort technology delivers robust, reliable and versatile COM port control and management, creating a local COM or TTY port on the host computer for the networked serial device to support standard software applications.

The Digi PortServer TS 2 MEI is easy to install locally or remotely using standard IP addressing methods (DHCP, RARP, ARP-Ping), and it's installation CD includes a Digi application to automatically detect all PortServer TS 2/4 and Digi One devices on your network.
