Foundry Networks BigIron RX4 switches redefine terabit-capacity for routing and switching in Enterprise and Service Provider environments.

The BigIron RX4's unique design allows for full width 120 Gbps raw bandwidth, 96Gbps available data bandwidth modules or two half width modules with 48Gbps data performance each in any slot. The RX-Series also offers a complete and robust set of standards-based IPv4 and IPv6 routing protocols such as BGP, ISIS, OSPF and RIP.

The Foundry BigIron RX4 is purpose built for high speed networks, providing wire-speed, non-blocking performance of up to 2.85 billion packets per second per 7-foot telco rack in a compact 2 slot interface system.
