HDS TagmaStore AMS500

The Hitachi TagmaStore Adaptable Modular Storage model AMS500 is a scalable, high-performance, high-availability, midrange storage platform bringing enterprise-grade storage features to small and medium-sized business environments.

The AMS500 scales to 86.9TB of SATA and Fibre Channel intermix disk storage or to 64.7TB of Fibre Channel disk storage capacity, offering the ideal platform for storage consolidation, a storage area network (SAN), Network Attached Storage (NAS), backup and data archiving.

The Hitachi AMS500 supports SATA and Fibre Channel disk drives and offers fully-redundant and hot-swappable components, within-system volume replication and incremental copies for backups, SATA RAID6 for high availability and the HDS Hi-Track "call-home" service/remote maintenance tool for 24/7 diagnostics.

The AMS500 is upgradeable to the Hitachi AMS1000 model, offering a clear expansion path as storage requirements grow.
