- 64-bit IBM PowerPC 970MP with AltiVec SIMD accelerator
- 1GB (2-core) or 2GB (4-core); up to 16GB maximum per blade; 400 or 533MHz ECC Chipkill DDR2 SDRAM; four DIMM slots
- Up to two 2.5" 10K SAS hard drives supporting up to 146GB maximum internal storage
- Integrated Broadcom 5780 controller supporting 17X PCI-Express connector and Dual Gigabit Ethernet (GbE)
- Integrated System Management processor, Light Path Diagnostics, Predictive Failure Analysis and IBM Director and Cluster Systems Management(CSM)
