IBM System Storage TS3400 Tape Library

IBM System Storage TS3400 Tape Library is designed to offer the high capacity and performance of the IBM TS1120 Tape Drive in a smaller automation footprint for System i, System p, System x, and System z and other open systems environments.

The TS3400 tape library is an external 5U standalone or rack-mountable unit supporting up to two TS1120 tape drives with a data transfer rate of up to 104 MBps per drive.

• 12.6 TB native capacity (37.8 TB with 3:1 compression)
• Data Transfer: Up to 104 MBps
• One to two TS1120 tape drives in a 5U format
• Up to 18 cartridges in two magazines
