nCipher nShield F2 UltraSign Hardware Security Module

The nCipher nShield F2 UltraSign Hardware Security Module (HSM) is a hardware-based cryptographic accelerator and secure key management platform for enhancing the performance and security of applications that use cryptography including PKI, database encryption, secure authentication and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) communications. nShield UltraSign models provide additional acceleration for encryption, decryption and signing functions.

The nShield F2 UltraSign has been validated to the Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140 Level 2, a widely accepted security benchmark for cryptographic devices.
