Network Appliance ApplianceWatch for Tivoli Enterprise gives IT administrators the capability to centrally monitor and manage distributed NetApp appliances within existing Tivoli Enterprise environments.

ApplianceWatch software incorporates distributed appliance monitoring, inventory tracking, and Tivoli Event Console (T/EC).

• Automatically track NetApp filer and NetCache appliance hardware assets
• Specify appropriate notifications or actions to be taken in the case of event or alarm situations
• Proactively monitor appliance conditions to maximize appliance availability
• Specify display of appliance SNMP traps on the Tivoli Event Console
• Utilize new Tivoli NetApp Administrator roles to partition and delegate NetApp administrative duties
• Create NetApp product-specific task libraries
