The Network Appliance DAFS Database Accelerator (DDA) is a high-performance Direct Access File System (DAFS) storage solution for Solaris software-based servers running Oracle8i and Oracle9i, IBM DB2, and Sybase.

The NetApp DAFS Database Accelerator uses virtual interface (VI) technology over a Gigabit Ethernet interconnect for low-latency, high-performance data access with reduced CPU overhead.
