Nortel Networks Alteon Content Manager (ACM) provides comprehensive cache, content, and accounting management for content networks.

Alteon Content Manager controls distribution, pre-positioning, and prioritization of static and streaming content for up to 2,000 Alteon Content Caches in a content delivery network (CDN), centralized configuration, provisioning and monitoring for caches and cache groups, and also features accounting management capabilities for tracking and billing content delivery/network utilization

• Provides a Web-based graphical interface and single point of management for up to 2,000 Alteon Content Caches
• Streamlines cache management by enabling creation of cache groups and content collections to simplify distribution and management of related information
• Monitors and reports on health and performance status, requests served, cache hit ratio, hit reporting, etc
• Intelligently prioritizes content through pre-positioning, pinning, and purging of content
• Provides granular and flexible collection of content and accounting data (per object, per URL, per domain or sub-domain, etc)
