The Fujitsu Primergy BX300 blade server supports up to 20 Intel Pentium III/M processor-based blades in 3U of rackspace, for maximum performance, reliability and flexibility with minimum foorprint.

Each BX300 blade is an individual compute node with its own main memory, hard disks and network interfaces. The Primergy BX300 blade server architecture also features up to 4 hotplug LAN switches and integrated blade management including KVM switches.

• LV Intel Pentium III server blade: 1-2 x 1GHz processors, 256MB to 2GB SDRAM ECC memory, 2 x IDE 20GB or 40GB disks
• Intel Pentium M server blade: single 1.4GHz or 1.6 GHz processor, 512MB to 4GB SDRAM ECC memory, 2 x IDE 20GB or 40GB disks
• Up to 20 hotplug server blades per BX300 3U server chassis
• 4 x hot-plug 10/100/1000TX (layer 2) LAN switch blades
• 2 x hot-plug (redundant) management blades
• 20 channel KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) integrated switch
• Microsoft Windows 2000/2003; SUSE and Red Hat Linux OS support
