SGI 1200 Server

The SGI 1200 Server is a high-density, Intel PIII based rack mount Server designed for Internet and technical application server farms. The 2U form factor easily mounts in industry-standard 19-inch racks.

With SGI's Advanced Cluster Environment tools for distributed software installation and remote management and monitoring options the SGI 1200 is the ideal solution for supporting rapid, unpredictable growth in server farms scenarios.

• 1- or 2-way Intel Pentium® III 32-Bit 500 MHZ or 700 MHZ SMP configurations
• 128MB to 2GB of ECC RAM main memory with 800 MB/sec peak memory bandwidth
• 1 LVDS SCSI port supporting 4 x Ultra2 SCSI hot swap drive bays
• 1 x 32-bit Peer PCI channel running at 33 MHz, 2 x PCI slots
• Emergency management port, hot plug internal drives, 2 fans for hard drive bay and 1 fan for the power supply
• SGITM ProPack 1.2 with Red Hat Linux 6.1 and Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, Microsoft Windows 2000 OS options
