Email Security Appliances provide protection against email viruses, spyware, Trojans and Spam for email gateways in an easily managed, stand-alone appliance.

Running a hardened FreeBSD OS, Sophos ESA's combine Sophos Anti-Virus, Sophos Anti-Spam Engine and Sophos IP Block list to protect all incoming and outgoing email.

Sophos Web Security Appliances use the Sophos full-spectrum scanning engine and URL filters to block web-based spyware, viruses, malware at the network gateway.

A web-based management console and system information dashboard combine with remote "heartbeat" monitoring and configurable alerts for ease of management.
