StorageTek L700e Tape Library

The StorageTek L700e Tape Library is designed for large, distributed open systems implementations in UNIX and Windows NT environments, and scales from 678 cartridge slot capacity to 1344 cartridge slots. Using StorageTek’s Adaptive Media Technology, each L700e tape library can handle multiple tape drive types, including StorageTek’s T9840 and T9940, as well as DLT, SDLT and LTO Ultrium.

• 216, 384 or 678 cartridge slots (single frame)
• Up to 1344 cartridge slots (dual frame)
• 13.56 TB (single frame) to 268.8 TB (dual frame) capacity
• Up to 35 MB/sec native throughput
