The Sun Blade 2500 workstation is a robust and reliable 64bit, dual processor capable workstation aimed at the visualisation and solving of complex technical problems.

The Sun Blade 2500 provides high performance for visually demanding graphics applications through support for Sun XVR-1200, Sun XVR-600 and Sun XVR-100 graphics accelerators.

• Up to two 1.6-GHz UltraSPARC IIIi processors, each with 1 MB of Level 2 cache
• Up to 16 GB of DDR ECC memory
• Up to two 146-GB, 10K RPM, Ultra SCSI internal hard drive
• Six full-length, 64-bit PCI slots (three at 66 MHz, three at 33 MHz)
• XVR-1200, Sun XVR-600 and Sun XVR-100 graphic accelerator support
